UNA Youth cast their votes for their next leaders
Polls opened on Friday 15 May to decide who would lead UNA Youth during the next academic year.  Four candidates – Naa Acquah, Dalí ten Hove, Carl Giesecke, Angjela Nikaj – contested the two posts of President and Vice President.   Once elected, the post-holders will link youth branches across the country with each other. Working with UNA-UK, they will represent their constituents’ ideas and ambitions, exploring new ways of engaging students in the UK with the work and values of the UN.     Anyone who lives in the UK and is a full time university student (or aged 18-26) can help decide by voting today.   Voting will close at noon on Friday 22 May and the new Youth Council members will be welcomed at UNA-UK’s biggest youth event of the year, Surviving Nuclear Zero.
