After two years of exemplary leadership, Baroness Anelay of St Johns, UNA-UK’s first woman Chair of the Board, has stepped down from her role due to personal circumstances. With warmth and appreciation, UNA-UK marks Baroness Anelay's tenure as one of kindness, inspired vision, and unwavering commitment to UNA-UK’s mission.

In her resignation letter, Baroness Anelay shared her deep appreciation for the opportunity to serve as board chair and reflected on the progress achieved together. Her words resonate with a sense of shared purpose and gratitude for the collective efforts of the UNA-UK community.

As Baroness Anelay embarks on a new chapter, UNA-UK extends its heartfelt thanks for her leadership and contributions. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide the organisation in its ongoing pursuit of a more equal, sustainable, and peaceful world.

We are delighted to share that current trustee Frances Chambers as agreed to step in as Interim Chair of the Board whilst recruitment for a permanent chair commences.
