UNA-UK to host Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon

UNA-UK is delighted to be hosting H.E. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, on Friday 5 February. Please note that this event is now FULLY BOOKED.

The event, held in association with Chatham House, will take place in London’s prestigious Central Hall Westminster – where the first UN Secretary-General was appointed 70 years ago.

The event will feature a speech by Mr Ban, followed by an interactive session moderated by UNA-UK's Chairman, Sir Jeremy Greenstock.

This is the final event in UNA-UK's year-long commemoration of the UN's founding, for which the FCO has provided generous financial support. It is also likely to be Mr Ban's last major appearance in the UK before he steps down.

We are delighted that the final strand of UNA-UK's year-long commemoration of the UN's founding should take the form of this major public event with Mr Ban, who has been in post for almost a decade and will be stepping down at the end of this year.
