In 2020 the United Nations turned 75.
In January 2020, the Organisation launched its digital survey and dialogue in the hopes of generating the largest ever global conversation about the “future we want, the UN we need.” The Secretary-General unveiled this vision knowing that this anniversary would be a time to look to the future, rather than the past.
The outcomes of this global conversation will help steer the UN’s programme of work moving forward and will be shared with world leaders. Here are the main ways for you to get involved and to have your say.
1 minute, 1 survey. Through UN75’s online survey you can have the chance to have your say on the issues that matter to you. It’s easy and simple to fill out and will make sure that your voice is counted. Why not use the opportunity to tell the Secretary-General about a campaign you are passionate about? Maybe one of our UN reform ideas?
Start a Social Media Conversation. Using Twitter, Instagram or Facebook start a simple Q&A engaging in how the UN needs to adapt to build the future we want. In order to reach as many people as possible make sure to follow and tag the UN and use the hashtag #UN75 so that your conversation can be picked up and shared:

Hold your own UN75 Dialogue. Anyone can join the conversation online by organising formal and informal dialogues. The outcomes of these dialogues will be recorded and fed into the office of the UN Secretary-General and will also be circulated to member states. Please email info@together1st.org if you are interested in hosting a UN75 dialogue and we will be able to advise further on facilitating and reporting on your dialogue.
