UNA Harpenden: Dr Ed Haworth on My Experience as a Médecins Sans Frontièr

Dr Ed Haworth is a consultant paediatrician at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow and lives in St Albans. His undergraduate training was at Cambridge and UCL and he completed his postgraduate training in London.

During his training, he completed a MSc in Global Child Health from UCL and spent a year working in Ethiopia. Before taking up his consultant post, he worked with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) on projects in Yemen and Bangladesh.

Dr Haworth will talk about the work MSF does globally with particular reference to his experiences with displaced Rohynga children in a Bangladeshi refugee camp in Bangladesh and in conflict ravaged Northern Yemen.
