UNA Eastbourne: Celebrating Our Diversity

The UNA Eastbourne invites you to join us in recognising the value of diversity. This event is open to all to meet, greet, chat and enjoy our diverse cultures.  A lively programme with guest speaker and live music.  The meeting will open with an introduction to the work of the United Nations, in particular the work of UNAOC.

The recent attacks seen in New Zealand should emphasise to us all the importance of respecting those in our community who come from a different race, religion or culture.

We believe diversity should be celebrated if we are to have resilient and harmonious communities where everyone feels safe and appreciated. 

The meeting will finish with a candle-lit one-minute silence in remembrance of those killed in Christchurch.
