UNA Westminster host Baroness Cox of Queensbury who will be discussing the role of the international community and the role of local partners in implementing development programmes worldwide.  

Baroness Cox’s humanitarian aid missions have taken her to conflict zones in Asia and Africa, bringing her first hand evidence of human rights violations and humanitarian needs. She is the founder of Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART). 

HART works with communities in active conflict zones; post-conflict areas still devastated by war; or areas where people are marginalised, oppressed and exploited for cultural, political and economic reasons
