UNA-UK ran 2 exciting competitions at Freshers' Fairs across the country during 2011. We asked students where a career with the UN would take them.
Anyone who was interested was invited to receive monthly career tips from UN big-hitters, win an iPad and, if they became a member of UNA-UK, a trip to the UN in New York.
The response was great and UNA Youth branches from across the country spoke to lots of students who wanted a career in the UN or international diplomacy, all of whom are now receiving our monthly UN career tips.
The winner of the iPad was Wiebke Schroeter of Bristol University. The New York competition deadline passed only very recently so we will be announcing the winner of this trip shortly.
