UNA Westminster: Brexit, Good Friday & the Future of Northern Ireland

Professor Colin Harvey, Director, Human Rights Centre, School of Law, Queen’s University Belfast, considers the implications of Brexit for the constitutional future of Northern Ireland and examines whether sufficient preparatory work is being done across these islands. After several failed attempts, and with an election date for the Northern Ireland Assembly long overdue, the UK and European Union are set to intensify negotiations over the Northern Ireland Protocol.
