Our Branch would like to invite you all on January in the New Year in the current challenging times, we need to meet, have the opportunity to exchange views, concerns and have our Say.
The United Nations, UN, and its Agencies have worked, since its foundation in 1945, have an important role in international affairs from Peacekeeping, to the Protection of the Environment, the Protection of Human Rights, the Well Being of Children Everywhere.
The United Nations Associations, UNA-UK, has been created to support the UN and its Agencies; it provides information and analysis of their activities it supplies educational materials to schools and teachers.
With your help we can remain a strong, credible and effective association.
We are fortunate that at our Afternoon Tea—coffee we have a guest Speaker, who has been a member of UNA for 49 years a chair of UNA Westminster and is involved in matters of international development.
We look forward to welcome him and listen to his experiences and we hope to see you and your friends at the Highgate Society.
