Kitty Hart-Moxon OBE spoke about her own experiences during the Holocaust.

Her story began after the German invasion of Poland in 1939 when she and her family were taken to a Jewish ghetto in Poland. After escaping, she was caught and sent to Auschwitz, where she survived for two years.

Kitty then showed a film, in which she described what her life had been like at Auschwitz. In 1944, she was evacuated and eventually arrived at the Bergen Belsen camp, where she was liberated by the British Army and helped with relief work.

Kitty has written books and made films about her experiences which are available from the Holocaust Educational Trust.
