SIMONE COVERLY
Administrative Coordinator
Simone joined UNA-UK as Administrative Coordinator in July 2023. She provides varied clerical support to the team, as well as database and process management. She previously worked as a Lettings Coordinator for an estate agency in London.
She graduated with her Masters in Gender Studies from LSE in 2022, where her research focused on the representation of sexual violence in film, particularly noting its potential to bring about social change. Prior to moving to the UK, Simone’s work on gender and gender-based violence was both in academic research and direct support and advocacy for survivors within the charity sector. She was also a Teaching Assistant and funded Research Assistant within her university’s Sociology Department, specialising in sex and gender.
