I’m a passionate leader with a proven track record of empowering communities through grassroots engagement and practical support. As a founder of Wonderful Way CIC, I’ve helped over 1,500 people across the UK to alleviate poverty, boost their financial confidence—through coaching, workshops, and partnerships with organisations like the Department for Work and Pensions, financial institutions, charities, local groups, schools and colleges. These experiences taught me how powerful small, local-led initiatives can be when given the right support.
I’ve long been inspired by the UN’s mission, and I am actively involved in the UNA community. From taking part in UN Women UK’s Commission on the Status of Women to being elected to UNA UK’s Conference Committee, I’ve consistently worked to connect local voices with national and international conversations. I’m deeply committed to fostering open, two way dialogue—and I believe that when people feel heard, they build stronger, more engaged networks.
My academic background in business information systems project management, and international project management, together with professional training as a Scrum Product Owner and Certified Money Coach, has equipped me with solid governance skills and a collaborative mindset. I enjoy working in cross-functional teams, using data to guide decisions, and building bridges between strategy and action.
I’m thrilled at the prospect of the Elected Trustee role at UNA UK. I would bring a genuine grassroots perspective to the Board, serving as a listening ear and practical ally for UNA Groups across the UK. My goal would be to strengthen connections between the Board and the network—helping groups share ideas, access support, meet governance standards, and ultimately grow UNA UK’s impact. I see this as a genuine opportunity to amplify member voices, champion local innovation, and help UNA UK thrive.
