Our event will include short talks and a chance to socialise allowing time for people to look at two exhibitions. One gives a background as to how the work has developed as countries have come together to highlight the challenges these communities are facing. Also, how the UN is providing a forum for them to get support from the world community. Excitingly we also have an exhibit from the Epsom Alpine Garden Society showcasing photos of alpine plants taken in various parts of the the world.There will be refreshments including cakes and biscuits from mountainous countries and a quiz. The event is free and eveyone is welcome. The Church is on the 85 bus route from Putney Bridge station (District Line) running past Putney Station to Kingston Station
