Richard Caplan is Professor of International Relations in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford. His principal research interests are concerned with international organisations and conflict management, with a particular focus on post-conflict peace- and state-building.
Professor Caplan is Principal Investigator of “After Exit”, the ESRC-funded research programme investigating conditions on the ground in countries that have hosted large-scale UN peacekeeping operations
