This video conference on 8 November will celebrate the achievements of the competition and consider its future.
Since Coventry United Nations Association (UNA) began running Coventry’s International Young People’s Peace Essay Competition in 2020, it has received entries from around the world.
The competition is an exceptional opportunity for young people aged between 15 and 24 on 31 October to express their ideas about peace, harness their creativity, learn through doing research, improve on their writing skills, gain exposure to the world through publication of their essay, receive a certificate of participation and stand a chance to win a monetary prize.
This video event will celebrate the achievements of the competition so far and consider its future development. We invite all those interested in promoting young people’s engagement with peace to join the event and put forward your own ideas.
