Guest Speaker: Dr. Alina Averchenkova
Dr. Alina Averchenkova is a Distinguished Policy Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics and a visiting Senior Fellow at the Royal Elcano Institute. With over 20 years of experience on climate change and international development, Alina’s current work focuses on national climate governance and legislation.
Alina will talk about the issues facing all of us on Climate Change, the progress made internationally on climate action to date and the expectations from the UN Climate talks at COP27 taking place from 7th to 18th November in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt.
