Following the recent publication of the UN report on a data revolution for development, the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) is holding a seminar in partnership with PARIS21 on the topic of the untapped opportunities of the data revolution for development.
The event takes place at the Society on the afternoon of Monday 1st December.
Confirmed speakers include Tim Wheeler (Deputy Chief Scientific Advisor at DFID), Claire Melamed (lead author of the UN report on this topic / Overseas Development Institute), Denise Lievesley (King's College London) and Liz Carolan (Open Data Institute). We will welcome your contributions and thoughts on what the data revolution will need to achieve and how it could be implemented.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
