New branch formed in Harrogate

Newly formed UNA Harrogate held their first public meeting in January 2016, where they focused on “why sustainable living needn’t cost the earth”. Commenting on their event, Clive Wilson said, "we explored creative and imaginative ways to establish projects that demonstrate the benefits of sustainability and how they can be set up with a different mind-set from that prevailing in the commercial world".

Clive went on to share how the meeting explored ways of "balancing abundance and generosity with the need for those involved in projects to earn a living and feed their families." Their next meeting is on 7 March 2016 and will focus on encouraging sustainable energy solutions. Anthony Day and Phil Morrison will present a challenge to the group followed by a learning session where everyone will have the opportunity to share thoughts or questions.
