London exhibition marks 70 years of UN history
UNA-UK has partnered with the UN Regional Information Centre and the Gabarron Foundation to bring a collection of the United Nations’ most powerful and iconic photographs to London.     Entitled ‘UNEARTH’, the pictures will be displayed from 13 October to 11 December 2015 at Central Hall Westminster, in the heart of the city where the UN held its first meetings, seven decades ago. Click here for visitor details.   UN officials, goodwill ambassadors, intellectuals, artists, journalists and historians helped delve into the United Nations’ archive in order to present the Organization’s past achievements and highlight future challenges.   Previously on display in New York, Brussels, the Hague, Verdun and Lisbon, UNEARTH seeks to be the most revealing and broadest exhibition ever assembled. Using its work on human rights, development, humanitarian assistance, and peace and security it explores the UN’s journey through a rapidly changing world, giving its own perspective on key moments in history.

Let us be inspired by the achievements that this exhibition documents to do even more for our collective future” – United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
