These posts are for persons with specific professional qualifications in fields related to the work of the UN. This can be in administration, economics, information systems, finance, language and related work, legal and related work, library, public information, social development or statistics.
Entry-level posts are filled through national competitive recruitment examinations and are organised on a rotational basis for nationals of inadequately represented member states. Candidates are expected to have an advanced university degree in addition to relevant professional experience.
