On 21 January, UNA Putney & Roehampton branch held a meeting entitled "How does the UN keep the peace?".
Chaired by Robert Storey, the main speakers for this event were Hayley Richardson, UNA-UK Administration & Policy Support Officer, and David Wardrop of UNA Westminster branch.
Despite the freezing temperatures a good number turned out for the event and a lively and broad-ranging discussion was had, debating issues such as women, peace and security to the economic recovery of post-conflict states.
