Palestinian UN “observer state” status: what it really means

On 29 November 2012, the General Assembly accorded Palestine the status of a 'non-member observer state' at the UN. Previously, Palestine was recognised as an 'observer entity' at the UN.

In a briefing released today, UNA-UK examines some implications of this new status conferred on Palestine.
