Hosted online, Tuesday 7 December 2021, in partnership with UNA Westminster and members of our London & Southeast Region UNA Group, UNA-UK CEO Natalie Samarasinghe was joined by a distinguished panel of speakers:

  • David Nabarro CBE (Special Envoy on Covid-19 for the World Health Organization)

  • Mandeep Tiwana (Chief Programmes Officer at CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation)

Following an opening presentation each of our panellists responded to questions and comments from the audience, covering everythiing from the latest health advice to developments at the WHO following its Special Session on 1 December, proposals for supporting economic recovery and the impact of the pandemic on human rights and civic space across the world.  facilitating an informative and wide-ranging conversation.
