Commemorative United Nations Charter posters now available
UNA-UK has commissioned two stunning new posters based on the United Nations’ historic founding document, the UN Charter.

The complete Charter

This treaty specifies the rights and obligations of all UN member states. First signed by 51 countries in 1945, 193 countries have now agreed to be bound by it.     To celebrate its 70th anniversary, our poster lays out every single word of this agreement to form the shape of the UN’s instantly recognisable emblem.

The Preamble

The introduction to the UN Charter begins: “We the  peoples of the United Nations determined to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war…”    This poster sketches out those celebrated words and the rest of the Preamble to form the silhouette of a dove of peace.             Both posters are large – A0 (118.9cm x 84.1cm) – and are printed professionally in high-resolution on silk-finish paper. They are perfect for educators, enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates the importance of the United Nations.   Limited editions, the posters will cost £17.99 (including delivery) and are available to order below.
