Please note that all statements have been provided by the candidate for the position of UNA-UK Trustee. Please be advised that profiles have not been edited for factual accuracy or language, and that UNA-UK does not accept responsibility for any mis-statements of fact.

Since attending my first UNA-UK event in 2016, I have been inspired by the passion of our members — and I am standing as a Trustee to represent that energy and commitment on the Board. From hearing Ban Ki-moon speak at Central Hall Westminster to representing UNA-UK at CSW68 in New York and at the World Federation of UNAs Plenary in Tbilisi, I have seen first hand how our network can influence global debates. More recently, I was elected Vice-Chair of the UNA-UK Conference Committee, where I am working with colleagues to deliver a conference that reflects members’ feedback and ensures our events are inclusive, forward-looking, and impactful.

In my professional life, I serve as Senior Legal Counsel at a global non-profit advising governments on public policy. My work sits at the intersection of law, governance, and international cooperation, engaging with UN bodies, governments, and civil society to turn global commitments into practical outcomes. As a lawyer, I also have extensive experience advising boards from both a legal and commercial perspective, which I believe will strengthen my contribution as a Trustee. Alongside this, I contribute as a pro bono Expert to the UN Economic Commission for Europe on public-private partnerships — work that has strengthened my skills in consensus-building and given me a global perspective that I would bring to UNA UK’s Board.

If elected, I would be dedicated to amplifying members’ voices, supporting UNA Groups across the UK, and ensuring UNA-UK remains a strong, connected movement for global progress. I would be honoured to have your support in this election.
