The event will be a ~1 hour long web panel discussion with Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, Professor James Putzel, and Dr. Annalisa Prizzon on the topic ‘The Future of Multilateral Aid’.

Lord Mark Malloch-Brown served as UN Deputy Secretary‐General and Chief of Staff under Kofi Annan. Before this, he was administrator of the UNDP, where he led global development efforts.

Professor James Putzel is Professor of Development Studies at the London School of Economics where he also served as the Director of the Crisis States Research Centre. He is an expert on East and Southeast Asia, with a focus on the comparative politics of development and financial crises, and the role of foreign aid and NGOs in development.

Dr. Annalisa Prizzon is a Senior Research Fellow at the Development and Public Finance programme at the Overseas Development Institute. She leads the research portfolio on international public finance.
