WACUNA: Making Clinical Medical Research Work in Africa

WAC-UNA's AGM is on Wednesday 19.11.14 between 2-4 p.m. at the International Maritime Organisation.  After a little business, Dr. Catherine Royce will speak on her experiences, Ebola etc. She is a medical doctor, originally trained as a surgeon in the NHS and has spent many years working all over the world in clinical research both in pharma and NGO sectors. She was senior project manager for Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative, working on projects in East Africa with other agencies including Medecins Sans Frontieres. Most recently she has been working as a general surgeon in southern Ethiopia.
