UNA Women's Advisory Council: WAC-UNA Council meeting, with Dr. W. Momen on gender equality

After a short meeting on the Tuesday after Easter, 19.4.22, there will be an update on CSW66, then Dr. Wendi Momen MBE will speak on "The Importance of Human Rights in achieving Gender Equality". Wendi promotes social justice, the empowerment of women, eradication of poverty, criminal justice, interfaith harmony, and housing. She has often been listed in Who's Who of Women. She founded EBBF (Ethical Business Building the Future) and plays important roles in UN Women National Committee UK, Soroptimists, National Council of Women, NAWO, and other NGOs. She was a Justice of the Peace for many years, worked for Advance, Widows Rights International - among other causes.
