Hamed Qawasme works alongside Palestinian farmers and Bedouin to protect their homes. This ancient people OF South of Bethlehem and Hebron is outside the media spotlight but in the midst of the most intense events. What are their daily struggles and their hopes?
Hamed helped set up the Hebron International Resource Network and also works for the UN as a Human Rights Officer. Hamed will speak in his personal capacity.
After the talk there will be a question and answer session with Hamed and Jane Backhurst. Jane worked within these tented communities as a human rights observer and comes from Tunbridge Wells.
