Tunbridge Wells United Nations Association is holding a public meeting and talk on Friday 14th November 2014 at 7.30 pm in the Victoria Suite, Camden Centre, Market Sq., Tunbridge Wells. The title of the talk is: IF NOT FRACKING THEN WHAT? Chair: Dr Brian Beeley
Guest speakers are:
Mr Howard Porter MA (RCA) Coordinator for Tonbridge and Malling Friends of the Earth. Howard is an environment and social justice campaigner and a member of the Green Party. He is an advocate for local and independent businesses.
Mark Moody Director of STEM Specialism at The Skinners’ School. Mark is an advocate of renewable energy. He is in charge of all eco projects at the school implementing the installation of solar panels, wind turbine and many ‘circular economy’ projects.
Dr Alan Bullion Alan works on food security and energy policy issues for Agra Europe and teaches on conflict resolution for the Open University. He has a PhD on the civil war in Sri Lanka, and has also stood as a Lib Dem parliamentary candidate.
After the talk there will be a question and answer session and refreshments.
