Our speaker, Emma Nicholson is a Development Project Manager for a rail SME consultancy with 22 years’ experience in the built environment and changed careers in 2019 to join the rail industry. She is a Board Trustee for the Yorkshire Academy Trust and The Women’s Engineering Society. Emma is also a Fellow of IEMA and the CIOB, and an Associate Fellow of the charity, the Women’s Engineering Society and a member of the Women’s Engineering Society’s Climate Emergency Group. Emma is the Founder of the LinkedIn Groups Women in Sustainable Rail and Women in Sustainable Construction and Property. She has undertaken Government research on low carbon scenarios for the industry from 2020 to 2050, and previously worked as a Venues Sustainability Manager on the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
