Remembering the League of Nations' failure to prevent the Second World War, a new drama called 'Winning the War, Losing the Peace' will identify the issues that need to be resolved in order for the UN Security Council to function more effectively in maintaining global peace as mandated in the UN Charter.
After a refreshment break, this will be followed by an Open Panel Discussion. A team of panelists will facilitate discussion on the issues raised in the drama with a view to promoting UNA-UK's new programme for strengthening UK's support for, and engagement with, UN Peacekeeping.
