The Conference Committee is pleased to announce that the 2025 Conference will take place on Saturday 12 April. For the first time ever, the conference will be hosted in hybrid format, with the option to join in-person or online.

Conference Committee Elections 2025
A Conference Committee is formed of elected UNA-UK members to assist, shape and focus UNA-UK's members bi-annual Conference.
The Committee will consist of at least five members; the Chair of the Conference, Deputy Chair of the Conference and three representatives. These will be elected by participating members at the 2025 Conference on Saturday 12 April. The Chair of the Conference will also be formerly appointed as a Trustee of the UNA-UK Board meeting in June 2025.

Only members who have held continuous UNA-UK membership from 1 August 2024 to the date of the Conference can be nominated.
If you would like to nominate yourself for a position, please click the link at the bottom of this page and submit the completed form by the deadline 23:59 Sunday 9 March 2025.
Those standing to be Chair of Conference Committee should read the Conference Committee Chair Information Pack carefully and they will be required to complete the Statement of Eligibility and submit a Declaration of Interests Forms prior to the Conference.
All candidates standing will need to commit to the responsibilities of Conference Committee as outlined in the Conference Committee Standing Orders. These include - but are not limited to - attending Conference Committee meetings; overseeing the organisation of the next Conference, respond to emails promptly; and contribute actively to the planning and organization of the next Conference.
Candidates who have submitted a fully-completed the application form and provided all the details requested will have their candidate profile uploaded onto the UNA-UK website and their details circulated to members attending the conference electronically ahead of the 2025 Conference.
Only UNA-UK members attending the Conference online or in-person on Saturday 12 April 2025 will be able to vote for the next Conference Committee members.*
*UNA-UK staff will make every reasonable effort to inform members of this election and the voting process. If, despite these efforts, a member does not receive the information or is not able to cast their vote, this shall not invalidate the proceedings.
