On Saturday 12 April, UNA-UK held its first ever hybrid Conference, bringing together members and supporters from across the UK. The agenda included engaging member-led discussions on UN reform and the role of artificial intelligence, as well as updates from UNA-UK staff on ongoing campaigns and programmes. A dedicated session also highlighted projects led by UNA Groups.
We would like to thank the former Conference Committee – Hana Shono, Viv Williams, and Ravi Kumar – for their hard work and dedication in making this event a success.
Conference Committee Elections 2025
A Conference Committee is formed of elected UNA-UK members to assist, shape and focus UNA-UK's members bi-annual Conference.
We were delighted to announce the results of the Conference Committee Elections, welcoming Hana Shono as the new Chair, Sophie Kasmi as Vice-Chair, and Viv Williams, Bolanle Oyediran and Shinu Yohannan as Committee Members. Members also voted to accept amendments to the standing orders.
The Conference Committee will submit a full report of the event to the UNA-UK Board of Trustees. This will be made available to members in due course.
