Emerging security issues and challenges

Emerging challenges such as cyber-crime have the potential to affect international stability, while a further challenge to regional and international peace and security lies in the exacerbation of underlying regional instabilities through the impact of climate change and increased resource scarcity. UNA-UK seeks to support measures to build resilience against these threats, while supporting the development of multilateral mechanisms that are capable of managing them.
