'Generation United Nations' is UNA-UK's programme engaging 13-18 year olds and their schools with the work and significance of the United Nations

We produce authoritative teaching materials, run events and offer the opportunity to get more involved through UNA-UK membership.

Our UN policy expertise combine with strong relationships with students and educators to put us in an ideal position to nurture a new generation of global citizens.

Events and resources

'Uniting the Nations' is the UK's only national Model UN tournament. Last held in March 2012 this event saw the participation of over 200 pupils from schools in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Our November 2012 Model UN Practitioners' Conference brought together educators from across the UK to hear and exchange best practice, tips and opportunities to network with others involved or interested in this exciting and effective learning tool.

We have also produced two teaching packs: 'Teaching about the UN Matters' and 'Teaching about the Human Rights Matters'.

Relationships

Students
Students aged 13-18 years old can become members of Generation United Nations making them part of the UK's only national MUN network and giving them access to resources and events to develop their interest, studies and careers, in particular in international affairs. Click here to find out more.
